“Having had 20 years experience in the catering industry, working in many rosette & Michelin star restaurants across England & Wales, I came to work in the kitchen at Burley Manor over a year ago. 

The beauty of running a kitchen in the New Forest is the ability to source produce from forest to coast and the unrivaled choice of local suppliers we have is so unique. Not to mention that view as you drive up to the Manor – we’re very lucky.

Our kitchen garden full of veg and herbs is also one of my favourite things about working here. We utilise these fresh ingredients in our dishes daily and that is a true pleasure as a chef.

My tip to guests eating here would be to try an evening with friends or family in the Butler’s Pantry, where you’ll see your food being cooked right in front of you in our wood-fired kitchen by us – An experience like no other!”
