Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th April 2018

Dedicated to supporting the Slow Food movement and sharing a passion for all things local and seasonal, we have partnered with Slow Food UK to bring you a fabulous weekend of wild and forgotten foods.

To kick-start the weekend, expert on wild food and master forager, Claudio Bincoletto will be hosting a hands-on workshop at 4pm where there will be a chance to learn how to grow your very own mushrooms at home.

Then from 7pm, Eating the Mediterranean, a special Slow Food five-course tasting dinner will celebrate the international community works to protect our local food culture and Ark of Taste’s forgotten foods. There will also be a chance to hear from both Claudio and Shane Holland, Executive Chairman of Slow Food.

To complete the weekend, there will be a chance to discover the joys of foraging with Claudio during an hour-long autumn walk through the New Forest starting at 11am, followed by a cooking demonstration using wild ingredients and a seasonal three-course Slow Food inspired lunch.
