Burley Manor Reborn

Burley Manor is now open – the newest addition to the New Forest; a restaurant with boutique rooms.

Set against the stunning, natural backdrop of the New Forest National Park, our manor house has undergone a major £1.8m refurbishment. We re-launched on 7 December.

The manor is a Grade II Listed building dating back to 1852 and steeped in rich history. The vision was to capture the historic essence of the building yet bring a relaxed approach to its food and atmosphere to create something unique. The result is a restaurant and rooms with elegance, warmth and simple style, set in eight acres of stunning grounds, alongside Burley Park – a red deer sanctuary.

The simple and delicious flavours of the Mediterranean together with its warm, relaxed way of life are the inspiration for the restaurant.

The award-winning chefs select the very best seasonal produce from the New Forest, the British Isles and beyond. They then craft them into vibrant, rustic dishes with the bold flavours and delicate tastes of the Mediterranean. This is food from the heart, enjoyed together in relaxed surroundings.  Absolutely no need to whisper.

A key feature of Burley Manor’s wine list is that it is all available in third of a bottle carafes (250ml) so diners can select their own personal wines to accompany dishes across the menu – whether that’s from a £25 or £90 bottle.  The concept makes it easier to explore the wine list with the help of our Sommelier and sample something new.  An ever-changing, concise but varied wine list, offers value for money, with a choice of 25 whites and reds.
Our bedrooms are designed to feel like home. A sanctuary. Strong, nature-inspired colours, antique furniture, eccentric artwork and fascinating fabrics. Large bathrooms with heritage fittings and tiled floors are complemented by framed artwork and warm panelling. Soft lighting, deep baths, relaxing colour tones.

Our Burley Manor boutique bolthole was designed for adults – allowing for relaxed dinners, breakfasts and overnight escapes. Children over 13 years are welcome and younger children are invited to enjoy lunch in our dining room.
