Delicious & vibrant vegetarian & vegan dishes

National Vegetarian Week 2018 kick-starts on Monday 14th May and it’s all about eating delicious and exciting veggie food, and as you all know, here at Burley Manor we’re all about creating vibrant dishes all inspired by the bold tastes of the Mediterranean – and our vegetarian menu is no exception.

As well as having a handful of vegetarian dishes on our main Kitchen menu, we also have a separate vegetarian menu that boasts 11 starters, 12 mains and 12 afters (with plenty of vegan friendly options too!) Want to hear a sample of what you can find? Then keep on reading…

From our starters you can find the likes of crispy tofu with orange & fennel salad topped with a chilli dressing, spicy tomato & avocado crostini served with a rocket salad & balsamic and plancha cauliflower with almonds, capers & raisins, just to name a few.

Getting onto mains, a few of our favourites include pumpkin and feta risotto, purple broccoli & stilton quiche, gnocchi and I.O.W blue cheese croquettes. If you haven’t tried our croquettes before, it’s a must; with melt in the mouth blue cheese and forest mushroom with a breadcrumb coating, topped with tarragon sauce…ok, now we’re hungry!

If you’ve got a sweet tooth then you’ll fall in love with our afters selection, a favourite of our regulars is Amalfi lemon tart with white chocolate and mascarpone sorbet – It’s utterly delicious. A couple of our favourites are passionfruit Alaska and vanilla pana cotta with papaya & lime meringue.
