Chocolate by miss Witt

Kerry Witt is a local award winning chocolatier who handcrafts exceptional chocolate delights! Using a unique ganache, specialist chocolate and Hildon water mix, her chocolate creations are an absolute pleasure for your taste buds. This one of a kind mixing technique allows the taste of the different cacao beans to come bursting through, sending you on a magical journey to chocolate heaven.

Her most recent success was at the world renowned Academy of Chocolate Awards held in London this year. Winning two awards; a Silver in the category of ‘Fruit Ganache’ and a Bronze in the category of ‘Herb Ganache’ Miss Witt was over the moon. The Silver was awarded for ‘The Laird’ chocolate which Kerry created with 85% Montecristi dark chocolate from Ecuador, orange marmalade made by Naked Jam and Glenfiddich whisky. The Bronze was awarded for her ‘Dark Smokey Apricot’ chocolate which she created with her Hildon water technique together with Lapsang Souchong tea and apricots. Our mouths are watering as we speak!

We look forward to welcoming Miss Witt and her chocolate expertise to Burley Manor in September. Miss Witt will be teaming up with our executive chef to deliver a chocolate inspired lunch with her individually hand crafted chocolates – made like no other! Kerry will also be hosting a hands-on chocolate workshop with us in December where you will learn how to craft and create your very own chocolates to take home!
