Spring Cocktails New flavours, mixes & fusions

Spring has finally sprung! Can you believe it? After weeks of rain the blue skies have finally arrived, the sun is shining and it’s time to dust off the sunnies and head to our terrace for an afternoon of cocktails, foodie treats and relaxation – Ah, now doesn’t that sound like the perfect spring afternoon?

With the change in seasons we’ve given our cocktail list a much-needed seasonal spruce up by introducing some new flavours, mixes and fusions to complement the beautiful new season. So, what’s new? Let’s start with one of our favourites, ‘berry thyme smash’ featuring a new favourite of ours, Fresha strawberry gin, mixed together with fresh lime juice and thyme from our kitchen garden all poured over lashings of smashed ice and sprinkled with raspberries.

‘English rose’ is another newbie to our menu, shaken together is Lymington gin, dry vermouth, apricot brandy, lemon juice & grenadine to create the perfect seasonal pick-me-up!

Not a fan of gin? Then try our ‘strawberry basil crisp’ crafted using Belvedere vodka, lemonade, strawberry syrup and then topped with New Forest strawberries and garden basil. It’s fruity, refreshing and is the taste of the season.

If it’s been a tough week and you really need something to boost your spirits or drown your sorrows then our ‘Limoncello martini’ is the one for you; simply stirred together is a fine helping of Grey Goose vodka with Limoncello, it’s strong but sweet and the perfect tipple to give you that #FridayFeeling.

Sometimes it’s nice to go for a classic and that’s why we’ve added a cojito to our menu – We think it makes the perfect refreshing afternoon cocktail.

Our ‘BM signature blend’ has been on the menu from the start and won’t be going anywhere soon – It’s a favourite of ours and our neighbours so we’ve decided to leave it be. Perfectly shaken together is Gin Mare, Prosecco, blue curaco, cranberry juice & grenadine all finished off with a sprinkling of pink peppercorns and basil hand-picked from our kitchen garden – We’ll take one now please!

We’ve also kept a few others but given them a little spring touch up including our ‘Sangria’ now featuring spring fruits & aromas, as well as our French 75 featuring a sprig of rosemary to enhance the flavours.

Sound good? Then take a look at what else is new to our menu and gather together on our terrace or in our bar for an evening of spring tipples. If you can’t find a designated driver, then take a look at our latest room offers so you can all enjoy the refreshing tastes of spring in our manor this season. Don’t forget to take some snaps and let us know your favourites – Happy cocktail-ing!
