Butler's Pantry A taste of Greece

Choosing which Mediterranean cuisine to delve into in our Butler’s Pantry is a tricky decision, they’re all full of tasty, vibrant ingredients and cooked to perfection in our wood-fired oven.

If you choose our Greek menu you’ll enjoy a delicious array of tapas, mains and desserts all rich in flavours and made by your personal chef for the evening. Start your meal with a selection of flatbreads, lavosh and oils before diving into your 8 chosen tapas dishes:



Below are a selection of our available tapas dishes to give you a taste of what you can enjoy:

Dolmades are lamb and rice stuffed vine leaves along with finely chopped onion, parsley, celery, sliced tomatoes, garlic cloves and lemon juice.

Grilled octopus with rosemary and thyme is the perfect dish to throw yourself into the Greek way of eating. It’s tender and infused with olive oil, garlic and of course rosemary and thyme.

Tzatziki is a Greek cuisine staple and is used to accompany mezze dishes and warm bread as well as meat dishes and salads. Made with just a handful of fresh ingredients including cucumber, garlic, Greek yoghurt, dill, mint and lemon, it is an essential companion for your chosen tapas dishes.



Rabbit stifado is a truly classic Greek main meal. It is essentially a rabbit stew made with tomatoes, wine and spices that give the stew a zing!

Lamb kleftiko is a hearty dish – It’s a leg of lamb sealed in a parcel then roasted with garlic, lemon, herbs and potatoes to soak up the delicious juices.

Sympetherio is a slow-cooked stew of green beans, okra and aubergines – It’s a scrumptious vegetarian option full of flavour.



For dessert we like to give you a little treat of a trio of Greek desserts including: pistachio and honey bacclava, Greek rice pudding with lemon and cinnamon, Greek buttermilk rice pudding with plancha strawberries and hazelnuts.



Sauvignon blanc is a perfect pairing with a lot of Greek food, our Spy Valley sauvignon blanc has intense flavours and crisp acid in a dry style.

Alternatively, our Valdivieso pinot noir is a new world red that is the perfect paring for those dishes with lemon, garlic and herb flavours with its red berry, cherry and sweet spice aromas.

To pair with the vegetarian dishes like the plentiful moussaka is our vieux chevalier chateauneuf-du-pape – A spicy French red with ripe flavours of black fruit, coffee and pepper.
