To get your taste buds working enjoy a selection of flatbreads, breads and lavosh with oils as well as queen olives and caper berries before indulging into your chosen tapas dishes. Here are a sample of what you can choose:

Burrata mozzarella, a fresh Italian cheese made from mozzarella and cream. The outer shell is solid mozzarella, while the inside contains stracciatella and cream, giving it a soft texture.

Crispy salt cod baccala is traditionally a Christmas Eve favourite in Italy but here we love it all year round. Its bite sized pieces of cod cooked in a pan and then coated in flower and fried until golden brown.

Fritto Misto roughly translates into ‘mixed fry’ and it encompasses all sorts of foods such as sweetbreads, meats, vegetables and even desserts.

Saffron risotto – Pasta may be Italy’s most famous first course, but rice is equally key to Italian cuisine and this creamy risotto is a delicious main course available in our Butler’s Pantry.

Insalata caprese is a simple Italian salad full of vibrant colour. It’s made from fresh mozzarella, tomatoes and green basil then seasoned with salt and olive oil. It is made to resemble to colours of the Italian flag.

Aubergine parmigiana is an Italian roasted vegetable gratin with tomato and basil sauce topped with parmesan and mozzarella.

Cassata Scilliana is a scrumptious cake from in and around the convents of Sicily. It’s the perfect way to end your Italian evening.

To pair with your Mezze’s we recommend either a glass of our prosecco or Perrier-Jouet grand brut. They both pair beautifully with fritto misto.

For main, if you choose the risotto then it has to be Angelo Veglio Barolo. It has a rich with elegant and complex earthy flavours and notes of violets.

Or if white wine is your preferred tipple then a glass of Mamora Vermentino di Sadegna; its light and refreshing and a perfect match with the fish-based dishes.
