Night Manager

We are currently seeking a highly motivated & independent candidate to join our front of house team – To act as the hotels point of contact overnight & to maintain a high degree of responsibility at all times.

It is this individuals responsibility to undertake portering duties, security & many other tasks during the night shift to ensure that all of our guests have a seamless & fantastic experience when they stay with us.

Mains responsibilities:

To look after hotel security and guest welfare at night – To ensure the fire evacuation procedures are fully understood & you know your duties in the event of fire evacuation.

To assist in setting up & servicing event rooms, this includes conference & banqueting.

To maximise every sales opportunity for food & beverage and rooms – To have a good knowledge of food & drink service.

To ensure the tidiness of public areas, car park & grounds at all times, including cleaning of these areas.

To carry out regular floor walks & security checks.

Basic reception duties – Guest check-in, check-out, telephone calls, enquiries & room service calls. Occasional room billing for early check-outs.

Assistant Head Housekeeper

We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic & experienced housekeeper to assist our Head Housekeeper at Burley Manor.

Main responsibilities:

Management of housekeeping teams rotas & holiday
Maintaining stock & placing orders – Managing department costs
To uphold an extremely high level of cleanliness & standards
To ensure deep cleaning procedures are in place & followed
Maintenance issues are reported
To carry out regular room inspections and spot checks
To ensure staff are trained and follow brand guidelines
To organise staff & distribute resources accordingly during shifts
To ensure health & safety legislation is adhered to

Skills & attributes:

2+ years housekeeping experience – previous supervisory or management role advantageous
A friendly & positive attitude
Highly motived, proactive & reliable
An exceptional eye for detail
Knowledge of health & safety legislation

Salary range: £14,664 – £16,000 depending on experience
